This blog has helped me meet a lot of great people online. Like the good folks over at SmallSpaceLiving.net, a.k.a. the Flawed Flock shop on etsy.com.

Besides bringing cool finds to light for dwellers who live in small spaces, the owners of these websites also run an Etsy shop full of recycled goodies.

Their featured products are Upcycled Starbucks Card Coasters. Those funky gift cards that are too pretty to throw away are now transformed into a bright, bold pattern of fun that you can happily set your coffee cup down on. Functional art for green-minded, coffee lovers like me–can it get any better?

Designed in various grid patterns, the coasters combine several wonderful illustrations and designs featured on old gift cards. Sometimes these images are part of the same series, and sometimes they are intermixed. But they are always eye-catching and designed well.
