Mixt Goods: Bike Chain Bowl

While looking for some local recycled-goods artists to visit, I ran across MixtGoods. Their tagline says, “support local artists” and features some beautiful items.

Although I haven’t found any local artists there who create recycled art, I did find this striking Bike Chain Bowl. It’s so shiny and modern–I can’t believe it was once a dirty, greasy bike chain!

The product description mentions that this bowl has “great weight” which makes sense, considering how heavy a pile of bike chains must be. A great gift for the eco lover who loves bikes.
